A bold, radiant brand and website that champions equity and unlocks opportunity in education

EdVoice, founded in 2000 as a 501(c)(4) by a group of education advocates, relaunched in 2023 with renewed leadership and a sharper focus: ensuring that students from low-income communities receive a high-quality education that prepares them for college, career, and life.

The organization’s mission is to close California’s education and opportunity gap by advocating for bold, lasting policy change. They work to ensure every student—regardless of background—has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

To reflect this vision, Teal launched a refreshed brand and website that honors the newfound mission—using bold, optimistic design to visually express EdVoice’s commitment to equity, opportunity, and action for California’s kids.

The EdVoice logo, anchored by an icon symbolizing uplift and opportunity, embodies hope and optimism. This inspiring symbol sets the tone for a bold, balanced visual system—featuring strong typography, bright yet grounded colors, clean layouts, and authentic photography—that reflects the organization’s mission and values.
