United for Freedoms came to us with two things: simple branding and a quick turnaround. Utilizing our Archie framework, we were able to design a custom site that perfectly fit their needs with minimal assets. We created a clean, simple 1-pager that told their story and gave clear direction on how to get involved. Not every organization needs an expansive, multi-page site, making this solution was a perfect fit.
At the time, the brand’s focus was on creating their look & feel, which was based on Urban Justice Center, but was meant to be more understated and minimal. We were able to use colors and typefaces specified for United for Freedoms, which pulling various styles from UJL, particularly the unique image style and emphasis on black, white, and shades of grey with pops of color.
United for Freedoms didn’t want to overcomplicate things. They wanted to tell their story and give viewers simple direction on how they can support them.
We started with an impactful, stylized image with bold text stating their purpose. From there, it’s all about supporting those who need it explaining the entire process. We let the audience know how to apply, what to expect, and gave them the tools to get support. If they end up having questions or needing a bit more help, they are able to contact United for Freedoms directly. Simple, clean, straight to the point.
Reform conference focuses on helping those who have dealt with addiction, working to build a future we all deserve. With that movement under siege in 2025, our gritty, inspiring look & felt really spoke to the soul of the conference.
