Telling the Story of Community Impact

GreenLight Fund is a national nonprofit that partners with specific organizations and programs in different cities and communities to improve the way of life for the residents that live there. They came to Teal with an outdated website that was cumbersome to update, confusing to navigate, and lacked a cohesive presence of the various communities they work in.

We quickly got to work creating a content strategy that would clearly tell the story of their unique approach, and allow the impact and work of individual communities to truly shine through.

Our solution included:

  • Customizable “microsite” sections for each community that GreenLight Fund supports. These unique sections allow each community to highlight their partners, impact, and news. They can also upload special imagery that is unique for their community and programs.
  • A robust, filterable investment portfolio. Users are able to filter and sort through all of GreenLight Fund’s community partners, and can read in detail on individual partner pages.
  • A success story library with a detailed underlying taxonomy that allows them to display on relevant community pages.
  • Engaging Approach and Impact pages that clearly tell the story of how GreenLight Fund works, and the national impact they have had.

An interactive map on the Our Impact page visually displays all locations of GreenLight Fund-supported communities. The map can be edited and added to in the website CMS for easy maintenance as GreenLight Fund grows over time.

A robust Investment Portfolio allows for filtering and sorting of all of GreenLight Fund’s community partners. Detail pages include information about the partner organization, with options for rich media and featured videos.
