Work
The U.S. Soccer Foundation helps children in underserved communities reach their potential—both on and off the playing field. With a network of national and local partners, their programs give kids safe places to play, connect them with trained and caring coaches, instill hope, and foster well-being.
USF has trained more than 10,000 adults as coaches and mentors, installed more than 450 fields, and reached more than 400,000 children with proven results. When an org restructure increased its focus on corporate and individual donors and the nonprofit shifted its offerings, they looked to Teal for a major site update.
The new site includes big, engaging images with bold calls to action, more prominent videos, blocks of color with organic illustrations, and a greater emphasis on accessibility. An elevated “Stories” section provides an emotional connection, pairing data points with personal stories of USF’s impact on kids and communities.
On the back end, the site makes it easy for staff to update news and load new photographs, and the “Latest” section dynamically pulls in recent posts from the blog and event pages. Key programs and partners are prominent, so USF’s audiences know how to learn more and get involved. Most importantly, every page on the site makes it easy to donate, sign up for email updates, become a partner, or find out how to start a program.
