Stop Hate
In The TALE, Jennifer Fox (Laura Dern) faces a host of life-altering questions after a short story from her middle school days forces her to re-examine her first sexual relationship and the stories we tell ourselves in order to survive. Teal partnered with THE TALE to create the film’s primary website, email templates, social media graphics, and print materials.
THE TALE was a tremendous opportunity to use the vehicle of film to raise awareness and encourage discussion on the issue of sexual abuse. The website we created for THE TALE draws visitors in with video clips from the film, but then focuses the visitors attention on changing the conversation about sexual abuse. The main call-to-action encourages visitors host or attend a screening. Teal also created the discussion guides that accompany the film.
The Tale was nominated for a Golden Globe and two Emmys.
The website also features sections for the story behind the film, resources, screenings, and how to get engaged in the issue.
