MIVoted

MIVoted provided resources on all of the different ways to vote in Michigan, as well as voter guides and resources in a variety of languages. The goal was to spread the word and do it in style. With beautiful graphics aimed at the younger crowd, swag, and incentives to get involved, there is no doubt that MIVoted helped Michigan’s voter turnout in 2024.

The 2024 election was a big one, MIvoted’s wanted to get Michiganders to the polls.

All Voting Michigan partnered with Teal Media and local artists to create a website around all the different ways to cast your vote. Focused on accessibility, the site provided voting resources to suit any vibe. The site featured voting guides & fact sheets in multiple languages, from English to Arabic. In addition, each vibe has quick links to find out where to vote, register or check your status, and even request an absentee or mail-in ballot. MIVoted made it easy to cast your ballot whichever way you wanted to.

Locals artists brought the vibes to life!

MIVoted collaborated with local artists to create unique illustrations for each of the four voter ‘vibes’: ‘Dropbox Like It’s Hot,’ ‘Early & IRL,’ ‘Get That Sticker,’ and ‘Vote by Mail & Chill.’ Each artist’s style distinguished their assigned vibe while maintaining visual cohesion through MIVoted’s color palette. Teal balanced these styles with bold type styles & branded iconography to give this site design a lot of personality.

What’s your voter vibe?

MIVoted aimed to simplify the voting process for Michiganders. Our Archie framework made organizing and presenting these resources simple & easy. We embedded a voter vibe quiz to the site, linking the results to specific vibe pages and cross-promoting the other vibes and resources throughout. Our framework allowed us to organize similar information in different ways, from action cards linking out to external sources like voter registration, to showcasing different digital downloadables to promote your vibe. Accessibility is always a priority for us, and it was for MIVoted as well, so we utilized a typeface that can display different languages for all of the different resources. Due to all of the artists involved in the project, we were able to style all of these components beautifully with different iconography, patterns, and shapes.
