Prior to joining Teal, Melanie introduced digital strategy and content development to the Urban Land Institute, an 80-year-old nonprofit committed to building better cities. Her leadership of global, cross-disciplinary teams produced multiple award-winning digital products, websites, and omnichannel campaigns.
Melanie is adept at pioneering and implementing technology platforms for marketing and communications, earning her the 2021 Technology Leadership Award from the Association Women Technology Champions. She joined the nonprofit world after a decade as a journalist. Melanie embraces a strategy-driven approach to design and storytelling.
