One of the biggest challenges was translating FSC’s deep, nuanced work on safeguarding into a clear, approachable digital experience—especially for audiences who may not be familiar with the concept or its relevance to philanthropy. Previously housed within the Global Fund for Children’s site, the content was dense and embedded in broader organizational messaging.
We worked closely with FSC to break out the content into focused, digestible sections, develop plain-language explanations of key terms and concepts, and create an intuitive structure that helps funders of all experience levels quickly understand what FSC does, why it matters, and how to get involved.
The result is a site that reflects the depth of FSC’s work while being accessible and engaging for new audiences.
The strategic solution for FSC centered on establishing a clear, standalone digital identity that could grow with the organization as its global presence and member network expanded. The previous FSC web presence lived as a subpage within the Global Fund for Children’s website, which limited visibility, constrained content structure, and didn’t reflect FSC’s evolution into a global hub for funders working on safeguarding.
To meet these goals efficiently and effectively, we recommended building the new FSC site on Archie, Teal Media’s purpose-built platform for mission-driven organizations that need to launch quickly on a limited budget. Archie was an ideal fit for FSC’s size and stage of growth:

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was bringing FSC’s beautiful brand to life online. The visual identity—developed prior to the website—was thoughtful, warm, and distinct, and we had a great foundation to work from. We loved translating the brand into a digital experience that felt both professional and inviting, especially for an audience that spans global funders and safeguarding practitioners.
From the start, we focused on using key brand elements—like the color palette, typography, iconography, and visual textures—to create a sense of cohesion and credibility across the site. It was especially fun to design custom content blocks that mirrored the look and feel of FSC’s existing materials while enhancing usability on the web. Seeing those elements come together—paired with more accessible, digestible content—really helped the site feel like a natural extension of FSC’s identity.
It was a true collaboration, and we’re proud of how the final site reflects both the depth of FSC’s work and the strength of its brand.
