Website Platform Support Intern (Remote)
Teal Media is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hours a week) Website Platform Support Intern for a remote position.
You will be primarily focused on supporting various aspects of our Archie Platform. Archie is our in-house website platform used primarily for rapid response projects, campaigns and startup organizations.
As a collaborative member of our Archie team, you will assist in the strategy, configuration and management of sites for high-profile social impact clients tackling big challenges in health, climate, gender equity, human rights, and more.
You will work closely with our Project Managers, UX Designers and Dev team to raise awareness, build audiences, and increase engagement in some of the most pressing social justice issues of our time. Depending on the project, you will have the opportunity to dig under the hood of how Archie sites are made, perform lite coding and design and manage content for a variety of sites.
This is a cross-functional role, where you will be exposed to technical, design and project management aspects of the project.
- Location: Remote, but you must be in the U.S. to be considered.
- Pay Range: $20-25/hr

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with project team members and clients on strategy for their site.
- Assist the Project Management lead with managing deliverables for the project team as well as coordinate tasks and communicate with clients as necessary.
- Assist with discovery and client/user research on select projects
- Learn and become fluent with the back-end management of the Archie Platform. Use those skills to ideate with the team on approach for client projects.
- Manage website content for client projects as we work towards launch.
- Assist with the technical configuration of the sites; from updating DNS to establishing staging sites.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new platform features and learn about the product development process.
- Conduct quality assurance, testing, and proofing on project deliverables
- Assist with client-facing training sessions.
- Collaborate with the team on marketing efforts.
Ideal Candidates have
- Current enrollment in relevant coursework in development, design and/or digital marketing.
- A little bit of technical experience, a little bit of design experience, and a whole lot of desire to learn.
- Detail-oriented, multi-tasker, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage time effectively, paying attention to detail and adhering to deadlines in an agency setting.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an open-mindedness, curiosity, and a willingness to accept feedback.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust plans rapidly if needed.
- Willing to jump in and help others.
- Brings passion, positivity, energy, and enthusiasm to the team
